After Meg and Phil arrived we started on our first goat project which would be to build them some type of shelter and pen so we could put them up at night and keep predators away. After digging around in a pile of left over wood and tin My Cowboy and I came up with a plan and went to work.
So we wouldn't have to cut any sheet metal we went with the simple A-Frame approach. Not that I was a lot of help but I mostly handed My Cowboy nails or held pieces of wood together while running back and forth to the house to check on the Gremlin.

The hut was fast and easy to build and before we put the metal on it it was pretty light to move. After we put the metal on not so much. My Cowboy does most of the heavy lifting.
The hut turned out just like we wanted and it serves its purpose for the time being. My Cowboy is working on plans to build a bigger, better, and lighter hut with an attached movable pen. I think this hut works and looks just fine but you know boys they always have to make something bigger and better and try to keep outdoing their selves.
